  Andrea Sugar

Death Doula/VDDN Co-Founder

Andrea (She/Her) is a Boulder, CO based doula. She is also a Reiki practitioner and life coach with a background in community mental health, addiction studies and suicide research. Andrea also has extensive experience working with veterans who have returned from war zones.  

 

  Daniel Shaw

  Death Doula/VDDN Co-Founder

Daniel (He/Him) a death doula based in Portland, OR. Daniel is an Army veteran and served in the Middle East. Among other contributions to the VDDN, Daniel acts as the group's webmaster.

 

  Emily Cross

  Death Doula/VDDN Co-Founder

Emily (She/Her) is a death doula, currently in the United Kingdom. Emily Cross started her death doula practice in 2017 in order to serve and uphold the wishes of the dying.

Jocelyn Obermeyer

Death Doula, Certified Therapeutic Harp Practitioner

Jocelyn Obermeyer (She/Her) is a death doula residing in Phoenix, Arizona. She is also a Certified Therapeutic Harp Practitioner, (CTHP) specializing in individualized music for the dying and their loved ones.

Willow Kelly

Death Doula

Willow (She/They) works as death doula in Virginia. She is also member of the National Home Funeral Alliance and acts as a home funeral guide with deep roots in community organizing, advocacy, facilitation and education.
