The Death Journey with a Doula

Branch_1.png

Professional, Continuous Support

A doula recognizes that death and the dying process can be overwhelming, and is committed to making the experience as positive and empowering as possible. By providing support and guidance during this final stage of life, doulas assist the dying and their loved ones through their final transition from the physical world.

During these challenging times, providing support to the dying presents unexpected challenges. As the Virtual Death Doula Network, we are committed to providing the services we can remotely, with a goal of being able to provide in-person support when social distancing starts to fade from our memories. We provide support to those with hearing loss via live closed-caption transcripts in Zoom. In the meantime, our doulas are ready to support you and your loved ones, wherever you are. We are a 501(c)3 organization; all donations of equipment or money are 100% tax deductible.

Andrea, Daniel and Emily, the doulas responsible for the Virtual Death Doula Network, Inc., have all completed the End-of-Life Doula Professional Certificate program taught by the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and have private death doula practices in their local markets.
